Now you see it, and now you don't
*sigh* Don't you love it when copyright owners complain? World of Narue is gone, as is Pokemon, due to copyright infringement complaints. Tsubasa Chronicle is also gone due to excessive dead links that I'm too lazy to fix, and Gunslinger Girl II: Teatrino is gone because The Triad, the only active group that seems to be subbing it in English at this time, has dropped the project due to it being licensed by Funimation.

But, removals aren't the only thing I did this evening.

Cardcaptor Sakura: The Movie and Cardcaptor Sakura: The Sealed Card have been added to the CCS media page.

Da Capo II Second Season episode 2 is now up.

For those who have been waiting for a subtitled release of the latest of 4 Evangelion movies, wait no longer. Rebuild Of Evangelion 1.0: You Are Not Alone is streaming on Megavideo now and we linked it. I'm pretty sure it's the subbed version of the camrip that was originally on here, but it is a sub nonetheless. A better quality version will be posted once it becomes available.

Caught up on some of our Spring 2008 series. Kure Nai episodes 3-6 are now up. Even if you haven't seen this series yet, I suggest checking out the OP/ED sequences on YouTube. They're pretty cool, and the music is fantastic. The theme songs will be added to Animax Radio soon!

Also added episodes 3-6 of Macross Frontier. The best show of Spring 2008 without a doubt. Amazing visuals, amazing music, amazing character development, amazing EVERYTHING. There is nothing bad that can be said about this series. If you haven't yet checked it out, do so NOW. All 6 current episodes that have been released so far are on Animax.

Finally, if you like incest with your anime, I added 12 of the 13 episodes of Koi Kaze. I would have added the 13th, but I couldn't find it ;/. I've never seen Koi Kaze, but it does sound and look interesting. If you decide to watch it, drop me a comment and tell me how it is.

As for the new layout....I'll get there....sometime.

Downtime, Media, Laziness
If anyone experienced any downtime from the site, I apologize for that. I was editing the site on a university connection yesterday and had some problems uploading an update which screwed everything up. It should be fixed now though.

Added some media today. As promised, we have 2 more series from the Spring 2008 anime season. The first is Kure Nai, which has an interesting OP that seems to have nothing to do with the series itself. Although the animation in it is a little creepy, the song is pretty good. Check out that series definitely. The first 2 episodes are up. The first 2 episodes of Allison and Lillia are also up. I suggest watching this series if you were a fan of Spice and Wolf. It kind of gives off that vibe to me.

Ah My Goddess media has been removed from the site. We hope everyone enjoyed watching it.

Tales of Symphonia episode 4 is now up. This concludes the TOS OVA series. Rumors have it though that 4 more episodes to cover the second half of the game will be created in the future though. Look forward to it =]

Pokemon episodes 23-29 are also up.

If you're still waiting on Kanon adult version and the rest of the KEY games, I know you've heard it before, but I apologize =P. I have been really busy with college and when I'm not busy, I'm lazy XD. I will upload them sometime I promise. I have no idea when though, as they do take a long time to upload because of the file size. For now, enjoy Kanon all ages, Tomoyo After, and Air; all of which are available on the site for direct download.

I have a new layout for the site I will begin working on sometime as well when I have time, so keep on the look out for that too.

Media after a long wait
Sorry about neglecting the site lately ;/. I've been busy....and lazy XP.

Added some media. Shakugan no Shana II episodes 19-24, and CLANNAD episode 23 (summer special) are now linked. Both series are now complete. Although it hasn't been announced yet, you can pretty much guarentee on a 3rd season of Shana coming in the future. CLANNAD has another episode coming out on the final DVD in July plus a second season covering the Afterstory has been announced. Those will be posted when they become available.

Also updated some Spring 2008 series. This is just a start of the new media we will be adding to the site. Da Capo II Second Season episode 1 is now on the Da Capo page.

Also from Spring 2008, Macross Frontier. Only 2 episodes have been released so far, but it is already the best show of Spring 2008 and probably one of the best series I have ever seen in my life. It is a must watch if you haven't seen it yet. The first 2 episodes are now linked.

Other series I plan on adding include Vampire Knight (another fantastic release of the season), Soul Eater (from the studio of Full Metal Alchemist), Kanokon (fanservice crap), Kure Nai (looks good so far), and Allison to Lillia (if you are a fan of Spice and Wolf I think you will like this one).

Spring 2008 Anime Series
If you haven't been keeping up with the Spring 2008 anime series; here are some that I definitely think are worth watching:

Macross Frontier: Probably going to be the best show of Spring 2008 for me. I loved the prerelease Deculture Edition version of the first episode that aired last year in Japan; it was beautiful and I watched it twice in 2 days. I have already seen the normal broadcast of the first episode and while there are some noticible changes, it is still very good. Whether you know about the Macross franchise or not, I highly advise giving this a try, especially if you like Gundam SEED because that is the vibe I am getting from this series. If you're looking for the episodes, they will be on the site in the near future :p

Vampire Knight: I am not a huge fan of vampire series myself, but I enjoyed the first chapter of this manga, and the first episode of the anime was also good. It will be on the site as well; and is slated to be the most over-subbed series of the season; so give it a shot.

Da Capo II SS: If you enjoyed Da Capo II as much as I did, you will be happy to know a second season is currently airing. As far as I know, it picks up where Da Capo II ended. The series will obviously be added to the site, since we have all the rest of the Da Capo stuff already up.

Kure Nai: ...It's different. If you like drama, give this a shot. It is also one of my favorites of Spring 2008.

ToLoveRu: If you're into fanservice and plotless anime, this is for you. It certainly isn't my cup of tea.

Itazura na Kiss: Bad art and typical shoujo crap. I gave it a shot expecting something as good as Ayashi No Ceres, Fushigi Yuugi, or Marmalade Boy; and came out very disapointed. It's horrible. I won't be watching any more of it.

Kanokon: I actually wasn't interested in watching this until Kalis on BoxTorrents brought it to my attention. It's filled with fanservice and sexual overtones and has a little more comedy than I usually enjoy, but I couldn't make up my mind with just one episode. Ill watch the 2nd episode and then decide if I plan on watching the whole series.

In conclusion, the 3 series I am definitely going to be following throughout the whole season are Vampire Knight, Macross Frontier, and Kure Nai. I haven't seen Special A, Soul Eater, Library War, or Allison to Lillia yet though; so that list might grow.

Happy Easter
Happy Easter everyone from all of us here at Animax.

Looking for something to do this Easter? How about watching some anime ;]

Today I added Air TV episodes 9-12. The summer specials and the 13th episode (if there actually is a 13th episode...I don't really remember ;/) will all be coming ASAP.

Finished off CLANNAD with episodes 20-22. The movie is also now up for you to enjoy! I don't suggest watching the movie until you finish the TV series, although the movie is amazing. A huge improvement over Kanon 2002 and the Air movie from Toei (the Air movie was good too though). The CLANNAD summer special airing next week will be added, as well as any OVA/Movies/Specials/Sequels they do in the future. I also plan to add the full game released by KEY animation, assuming I ever get unlazy and upload it.

Pokemon episodes 16-21 are up.

A new series today, Read Or Die. The first 10 episodes of the TV series are now posted.

Finally, I know I've been falling behind with posting Shakugan no Shana II. Episode 18 is now up. I would have posted more, but Veoh wouldn't load. If you haven't yet got caught up and don't want to wait for me to link them, just do a search on Veoh or MegaVideo. Or you can download them directly from Eclipse Fansubs' super fast IRC bots.

CLANNAD 22
The final episode of CLANNAD was released today by Eclipse. I immediatley downloaded and watched it.

I have to say, even though I was worried, the final episode did everything I wanted it to....mostly. It had the romance touch that I was truly hoping for, even though it was rushed, and the heart-felt semi-conclusion that everyone watching has been waiting for all season. Okay, it really had very little sense of actual closure, but I still think Kyoto Animation did a brilliant job with CLANNAD...and that might be because they really did, or it might be because they have me by the balls. I love everything Kyoto Animation, and I love everything KEY. And when they get together, I have a joygasm all around.

Anyway, if you haven't yet seen the last episode of CLANNAD, do so. I don't think you will be disapointed, especially come the 2nd half of the episode. Next week, there is a summer special episode airing which seems to be more for comedic relief than having anything to do with the actual storyline. With any luck, by the end of that episode, we will have some sort of announcement (kind of like they did in the last episode of Kanon with the announcement for CLANNAD) regarding whether or not a sequel series or some sort of OVA/Special/Movie will be released to cover the Afterstory.

CLANNAD 21 and Shakugan no Shana II 22
If you haven't yet watched CLANNAD 21 yet, don't be in too much of a hurry. As much as I hate to say it considering it's the best series of the Fall 2007 anime season, the conclusion for the series isn't looking good. There is one more actual TV episode left, which will air this week, and then some Summer special thing and any other DVD extras or OVA they decide to release. So far, there has been no romance between Nagisa or Tomoya; and the Afterstory hasn't been covered yet at all, which takes up almost the entire second half of the CLANNAD game. I know I shouldn't judge it until I see the final episode, but I will be very disappointed if there is no romance between Nagisa and Tomoya (one kiss is all I ask, although more would be fantastic); or if they don't cover Afterstory as either an OVA, Special, movie, sequel series, etc. If they do end up turning Afterstory into a sequel series, it probably won't premire for a while thanks to season 2 of The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (which don't get me wrong, I am excited for just as the next person, but I would really prefer closure of CLANNAD first). I hope they don't leave us hanging.

As for as the latest episode of Shakugan no Shana Second goes, it is in full swing as ever. I have to admit, I thought that episode 22 would be wasted after such a hit that episode 21 was, but JC Staff actually came through. It was quite entertaining and on the edge. I am greatly looking forward to the final 2 episodes of this series. From the looks of it, unless JC Staff has something up their sleeve, there are still going to be unanswered questions and cliffhangers at the end of Shakugan no Shana Second. That being said, there is a good chance (and I am reeeeaaaalllly hoping, just as much as I am hoping for a second season of CLANNAD) for a third season of Shakugan no Shana Second.

Tell me how I'm supposed to breathe with no Air
Air TV episodes 6-8 are now posted.

And at the request of KurKaka, Dragonball Z now has its own seperate page. Should make it easier to navigate. Speaking of navigation, I (with the help of Rieyu :p) have found a new layout for Animax 11. Once I get some free time I'll start working on it.

Also, for those waiting patiently for Kanon the adult version; I know I am stalling and being lazy XD. I promise to get it up by Monday at the latest. Look forward to it.
